Learning history with FCE1!
El grupo de FCE1 hizo una investigación sobre Londes y los eventos históricos que sucedieron en esta ciudad. En esta oportunidad, los chicos nos enseñan un poco sobre la Peste Negra, y sobre cómo afectó a Inglaterra, con este párrafo.

The Black Death
During the Middle Ages, diseases spread out very quickly due to the fact that knowledge in medicine was rudimentary compared to that of today’s society. The concentration of a great number of people in big cities, the pollution of water, stinking wells, lack of health care organization, the invasion of rats and fleas in the streets among other factors, extended the epidemics. But of all the plagues, the one that darkened the Middle Ages, was the Bubonic Plague, known as “Black Death” that between 1348 and 1400 ravaged the European population. It’s not completely clear where it began, though.

Waving Flag, the song from the World Cup
Los alumnos de Teens 3 y Senior 6 utilizaron el pizarrón interactivo trabajar con una de las canciones grabadas para ayudar a Haití, que luego se convirtió en uno de los himnos del Mundial, "Waving Flag."
Vieron el video, realizaron actividades de comprensión, y luego por supuesto, ¡la cantaron!
