Shakespeare's times
William
Shakespeare was from Stratford-upon–Avon, a city situated in London. We
celebrate his birthday on April 23rd. He had a family. He had brothers and
sisters. His mother was rich. His father made and sold gloves.
When he went to school, he didn´t have to pay but he had to learn to
read and write before starting. At
school he had to study maths, history, and Latin. Some years later, he married
Anne Hathaway and they had three children.
